Park La Posada is a dedicated residential retirement park home community. Therefore, our support and facilities are for the residents’ exclusive use.
There are not many 100% dedicated residential retirement communities in Spain, and even fewer offer the support and facilities that Park la Posada offers. When possible, the park adds new facilities to ensure the residents have the retirement lifestyle they hope for.
The support and facilities we offer are one of the reasons why so few homes are for sale at any one time.
PARK RECEPTION
Bilingual staff are there to take great care of the residents. The park also has an entire maintenance team.
SWIMMING POOL
Swimming pool and sunbathing area exclusive for the residents and visiting friends and family.
COMMUNITY CENTRE & BAR
Open all year. Functions organised by the residents for the residents. It is the heart of the community. Residents enjoy a varied social life.
4 LANE BOWLS GREEN
We have a competition-standard four-lane bowling green within the park. The park residents have established their own regional bowls club.
INTERNET
Each home has a wired internet connection fast enough for daily use, including streaming. The bar and reception are also WI-FI areas.
TELEVISION
No matter what you want to watch, you can. This is by means of an Internet set-top box. The bar also has a large screen for special events.
OWN POST BOX
Each resident has their own post box in reception. The reception also takes in other deliveries.
OPEN AIR GYM
Stay fit and healthy in the park with this wonderful open-air gym. There are also some scenic walks around the park.
The residents arrange entertainment in the park for the residents using the community centre. It is why so many people love it here. The reception is on hand to help with anything. Book a coach, for example, so that the residents can visit Gibraltar or Granada. Life is always exciting here.
Lifestyle
The facilities in the park only contribute to the park’s lifestyle. The residents are the ones who make the most of the facilities and then add some of their own. In the park, there is a fishing club and lots of local lakes to fish. Golf is also a good hobby, and Antequera has a golf course.
Walking and cycling are also popular pastimes; of course, you will not get rained on very often. The residents also arrange the social life in the community centre with the reception staff’s help—special function nights arranged and an occasional Saturday night with live entertainment.
The resident’s bowls club is going places, literally. Visiting other bowling clubs in Spain is normal, and sometimes they also go to the Algarve for a week to visit a club there which is not that far away. The picture above was taken during a visit to the Algarve.
Bowling is an excellent pastime for some; for others, it is nice to sit and watch. That is what makes the park such a good community. Residents can get involved in as much or as little as they like. No one has to do anything in Park La Posada except to ensure they enjoy themselves and the better weather.
