Park La Posada is a dedicated residential retirement park. It does not have any tourist camping areas. For that reason, the facilities are exclusive to the homeowners and their guests. There are not that many 100% dedicated residential parks in Spain, and even fewer offering the facilities that Park la Posada offers. The park has added facilities to ensure the residents have the lifestyle they are hoping for.

OPEN AIR GYM
Stay fit and healthy in the park with this wonderful open-air gym. There are also some wonderful walks around the park.
Entertainment on the park is arranged by the residents for the residents using the community centre. It is why so many people love it here. The reception is on hand to help with anything. Book a coach for example so the residents can visit Gibraltar or Granada. Life is never boring here.
Lifestyle
The facilities in the park only contribute to the park lifestyle. The residents are the ones who make the most of the facilities and then add some of their own. On the park, there is a fishing club and of course lots of local lakes to fish. Golf is also a good hobby and there is a golf course in Antequera.
Walking and cycling are also popular pastimes and of course, you will not get rained on very often. The residents also arrange the social life in the community centre with the help of the staff in reception. Special function nights arranged as well as an occasional Saturday night with live entertainment.
La Posada is also the only park we know of that has its own radio station. PosadaFM. Search online for Posada FM and listen to some great music. John Little runs the radio station and he has been a resident for many years now.
The resident’s bowl club is really going places, literally. Visiting other bowls clubs in Spain is normal and sometimes they also go to the Algarve for a week to visit a club there which is not that far away. The picture above was taken during a visit to the Algarve.
Bowling is for some a great pastime and for others, it is nice to just sit and watch. That is what makes the park such a good community. Residents can get involved in as much or as little as they like. No one has to do anything on Park La Posada except to make sure they are enjoying themselves and of course the better weather.
